If golf is your passion or just for pleasure, Dave & Julie are happy to arrange a course that will suit your requirements and time frame.
Bay of plenty is renown for its golf courses be it a single round or a multiday golf schedule you want on either a 9 hole or one of the many 18 hole championship courses.
Just a chip shot away
Renner Park is the local nine hole course just 3 minutes from the lodge. It is both interesting and challenging with an undulating lie and water hazards.
We can provide a complimentary drop off and pick up service if required. Either enjoy a drink at the club or come back and swim and relax with a drink at the lodge.
An easy drive away
Tauranga Golf course is just a 5 min drive from the lodge. This 18 hole championship course is often described as 2 courses in one. With its picturesque trees and beautifully manicured fairways and greens this will be a treat to play no matter what your skill level.
Dave is a member here and can arrange a tee time for you most days of the week.

Other courses can be arranged should you wish to take a day trip by car or a short helicopter flight. Wairakei for instance is rated as one of the top 50 courses internationally.

All golfed out or out of time
If time is not on your side and you just want to get the feel of a club in your hand or purely just for fun there is a mini putt course at Renner Park situated at the bottom of the road.
Half day (9 hole)golf packages start from $25 per person.
Fishing
Welcome to a fishermans paradise, The Bay of Plenty has every thing from fly fishing to big game. Just looking for a fun day out or if a trophy fish is your ambition, we can put you on the right boat or with the best guide to achieve the best results.
Bring your own gear or needing it all to be supplied, just let us know what choice of fishing and time frame and leave the rest to us. For those short of time a helicopter is available to be arranged to pick you up at the lodge and have you at your fishing spot in no time at all.
Half day or 3 days, mix and match , let us put a” stay & fish” package together for you.
Half day snapper fishing starts from $80per person
Hunting
With the lodge being positioned on the city boundary it is very handy to drive to the near by hunting grounds of many different types of game be it the winged or legged variety. For some the thought of walking out of the lodge and into a helicopter and being whisked away with your guide for a days hunting seems almost unbelievable and to be on the scent of a deer in an hour or two. Maybe it’s the thrill of the walk and being part of the natural New Zealand bush landscape you are looking for, or you have a trophy in mind let us know and we will organise a package which will best fulfill your requirements.
Half day small game packages from $200 per person
Full day deer hunting trips from $400 per day. (plus transport)
